My Story

Personal Statement

I've always been a quite artistic person, and I've always enjoyed drawing, painting, sketching, and anything else that involves colors, details, and structure. Because the flow of art takes many different paths, I acquired an interest in web design and discovered it to be an incredible platform for demonstrating the form of art. I've enjoyed working on the design files and transforming them into visual pieces that users can view and interact with in a web application. I've always been interested in learning more about issues and routes that have directly or indirectly aided my personal and professional development. I was never scared to try new things or conduct experiments with various concepts.

I graduated from Kantipur Engineering College with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and communication Engineering (TU Board, Nepal). During my senior year, we were required to complete a project, which we did under the title "MEDICAL SYSTEMATIC TRANSPORT AND ASSISTANT ROBOT (2017-2018)". While my teammates worked on hardware and software development, I was more interested in the user experience and UI of the program. At this point, I have self-taught several web design components such as HTML and CSS. This was the first time I began developing my own html and CSS code. It was only the beginning of my newfound passion.

I began my professional career as an intern at CodeVibrant, where I received my first professional mentoring from my seniors. I had started working on live projects after a month. WordPress Themes were the ones I first started with, where I had to think about different layouts and customizations, as well as polishing every design that was expected. It was tough, but rewarding at the same time. Our daily routine consisted of uploading such themes to wordpress.org and checking the number of active installations. After a year, my desire to study got even stronger, and I accepted a position as a UX/UI Developer at AndMine Nepal. This time, client projects were absolutely new to me; I learnt about client needs and communication, and I delivered my first client project, 'Xavier'. After COVID-19, I have enhanced my virtual and in-person communication. Virtual work from home has enhanced most people's communication skills, including mine. Then, I began working as a Frontend Developer for 'Outside Tech' in order to challenge myself and learn new things. I've worked on a variety of platforms, including WordPress ,Shopify, Drupal, ModX, BigCommerce, Bizaaboo, and Wix. Shopify is my most recent discovery, which I intend to pursue further. meetlalo, based on Shopify 2.0 DAWN theme, is my most recent project. It was a tremendous opportunity to learn and grow. I started exploring more and more of the inspiration and unique websites since I was always delighted by the different websites we visit every day. With the help of seniors and a strong commitment to learn, I was able to increase my skills and web design expertise over time.

As a Front-end Developer, I've created and constructed highly responsive websites and ecommerce solutions for the past three years, and I've honed my skills in HTML, CSS, SCSS, Jquery, and Javascript, as well as code versioning systems like GIT. I've always been a people person who tries to plan the flow of work while improving these technical talents. When it comes to developing our personality and doing a good job, I believe 'Communication' and 'Technical Skills' go hand in hand. In addition, I have routinely exceeded client objectives and project milestones while working under pressure. I've taken part in frontend development environment discussion meetings, project planning, intern training and guidance, and onboarding new team members into the office atmosphere and the frontend environment.

I understand how crucial details are for a Front-end Developer. In my professional life, my strong attention to detail and dedication have always aided me. I've always prioritized my career, and I'm not ready to settle down just yet. I'd like to become familiar with as many frontend platforms as feasible. Web design and front-end development is a wide subject that challenges us while also assisting us in our growth. I'd like to pursue a career in design education. I've been learning everything by rote up until now, but I'd like to improve my academic performance as well. I'm considering pursuing an academic certificate to advance my career and broaden my knowledge in a variety of fields.I intend to pursue an academic qualification that will advance my career and broaden my understanding in the field. Learning SEO fundamentals, as well as honing and accumulating skills.

In my search for knowledge and information, I came across the subject of 'Web Design and Content management' which contains the course content that best meets my future goals. For my higher education, I've contemplated the United States, the United Kingdom, and even my own nation, Nepal. Curriculum, course content, tuition rates, practicality, and scholarships were the criteria I used to conduct my investigation. Finally, I took the plunge, and after weighing all factors such as study period, tuition prices, and course content, I determined that the United Kingdom would be the most effective and profitable option for me.Furthermore, my professional experiences and drive to study will assist me in grasping all of the information and implementing it successfully in my future work.
